Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC), one of the region’s leading regional multi-line insurance providers for corporates and individuals, today announced its support to Al Bayt Mitwahid Association for the fourth consecutive year. Al Bayt Mitwahid Association was launched by the employees of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court in 2012 and it is the foremost non-profit association dedicated to community welfare initiatives within the UAE.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Executive Vice President – Shared Services, ADNIC, said, “Our continued trust in Al Bayt Mitwahid Association is a validation of the tremendous success ADNIC has had as a corporate citizen through its partnership with the Association. We are constantly looking for ways to expand our social responsibility goals in line with the national agenda of the UAE. We are excited about their planned activities for this year and look forward to playing an active part.”
In 2013, Al Bayt Mitwahid Association funded and spearheaded the successful launch of seven sustainable community initiatives, one in each emirate; including the development of seven feed-product hydroponic farms in Ajman, a fish reserve comprised of 500 submerged reef balls in Fujairah, and a mentorship initiative for university students in Abu Dhabi. In 2014, a total 10 projects were supported, including three-UAE wide initiatives. The Building Bridges initiative, launched in 2014, aims to provide moral support to the elderly, disabled, orphaned and hospitalized through regular visits to centres and hospitals.
