Announcement Issued by Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company PJSC Regarding the Uncollected Cash Dividends by the Shareholders Reserved by the Company Prior to 1 March 2015

With reference to the directives issued by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) regarding the uncollected cash dividends by the shareholders of the local listed Public Joint Stock Companies which are reserved by the companies prior to the date of 1 March 2015.

 

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company PJSC invites all the Shareholders who have not yet collected their cash dividends for the period prior to 1 March 2015 to visit the Company’s following link (https://www.adnic.ae/web/guest/investor-relations) to ensure that the shareholder’s name is entitled to the cash dividends. In the event that the shareholder is entitled to any cash dividends, the shareholder should provide the Company with the following documents in order to disburse their cash-dividend.

 

  1. A letter signed by the shareholder or the legal representative of the shareholder addressed to the Company to issue a cheque or make a wire bank transfer for the due cash-dividend value.

 

  1. The shareholder’s original Emirates ID and copy of it or the shareholder’s original passport and copy of it.

 

  1. In the event of a general or special Power of Attorney on behalf of the shareholder, please provide the original duly certified Power of Attorney with an additional copy, as well as the authorized person’s Emirates ID and a copy of it or the authorized person’s original passport and a copy of it.

 

  1. Any other document that may be required by the Company.

 


We would like to affirm that, starting from 14 February 2021, all the cash-dividends  that have not been collected by their beneficiaries shareholders will be transferred to the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), which will be responsible for disbursing the value of these cash-dividends to shareholders who are entitled for it whenever they are claimed. The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) will publish their own statement on their official website and the securities exchange markets’ websites to explain the authority’s fulfillment of this role and all the details in a timely manner.
