ADNIC Announces Appointment of Chief Distribution Officer

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC), one of the region’s leading providers of insurance solutions for individuals and corporates, today announced the appointment of Michael Mansour as Chief Distribution Officer. In this role, Mansour will be responsible for overseeing the company’s distribution strategy, including establishing new preferred partnerships and cultivating existing partners related to the broker community, banking institutions and direct customers.

Commenting on Mansour’s appointment, Walid Sidani, Chief Executive Officer, ADNIC said: “ADNIC has ambitious growth plans in place for continued success which include profitable regional expansion and organic growth by expanding our distribution channel partnerships. Michael’s wealth of experience, attained through his association with reputable regional and international insurance companies, will help ADNIC succeed with our local and regional distribution expansion strategy.”

Mansour joins ADNIC from Zurich Insurance Middle East, where in the role of Regional Distribution Executive he was responsible for the company’s agency distribution channel and broker management. With over 20 years of regional experience, Mansour was a key member of the acquisition integration and transformation team that acquired Lebanese Insurance Company, which later became Zurich Insurance Middle East. Mansour has also worked for Mashreq Bank where he was Head of Retail and Distribution, establishing the bank’s Retail Islamic Banking Division, as well as ALICO, where he was based in Jordan and Egypt.

Mansour will work closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership team on delivering ADNIC’s Perpetual Excellence Plan of profitable growth and regional expansion. In his role as Chief Distribution Officer, he will also be responsible for overseeing ADNIC’s expanding branch network to enhance customer acquisition and cross-selling initiatives.
